About Us
A Rochester Remodeling Contractor Built on Craft
Building the future and restoring the past — residential renovation for homeowners across Rochester and Monroe County.
Who We Are
Local, Residential, Hands-On
WP Home Renovation & Remodeling, Inc. is a residential remodeling company based in Rochester, New York. We work on houses — not commercial build-outs, not warehouses. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, roofs, siding, decks, additions and whole-home renovations for people who live in the house while we work on it.
Rochester housing stock is unusually varied. A Victorian in Corn Hill, a foursquare off Park Avenue, a post-war ranch in Greece and a 2005 colonial in Victor each demand a different approach to framing, plaster, insulation and trim. Our tagline is not decorative: building the future and restoring the past is genuinely what the work here requires.
How We Work
Our Approach
We walk the project, ask what you actually want out of the space, and price the real scope before demolition — not after. Allowances are written down so you know exactly what is included.
Quality Workmanship
Waterproofing, flashing, framing and ventilation get the same attention as the tile and cabinets. The hidden work is what determines whether a remodel lasts twenty years or two.
Customer Service
One point of contact for the whole project, a schedule that says which trade is in the house each week, and a job site swept at the end of every day.
Our Commitment
To Rochester Homeowners
We are licensed, insured and happy to hand over references from projects in your own town before you sign anything. Changes mid-project are written up with cost and schedule impact and approved by you — never discovered on the final invoice.
Most of our work comes from neighbors of previous clients. That only happens when the crew treats the house with respect, finishes the punch list and answers the phone after the check clears. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every Rochester renovation we take on.
